MGT 3120: Blog Topic #8: Communicating via Blog

To tell you the truth about blogs. I hate it. I feel it's a waste of time and if you were trying to use blogs in means of communication, I rather prefer what you do in class. Getting a large group discussion is more successful compared to blogs. As you can see not much ppl reply and from the ones they do, they do it because their grade is impacted on it. The blog was annoying and time consuming. I'm rarely sitting in front of a computer unless I have to type up something, so it was uncomfortable. Rather then students repsond naturally from their interests, they probably copy pasted one entry and applied it to other blogs as well. Although your thought on the blogs was a interesting approach, in my opinion, did not work out as you hope it would. I suggest that you should keep using this blog for your other semesters. (So they can suffer what I had to go through..haha im kidding) Well you can try to give .5 extra credit per blog entry you ask of them to do. Instead of making the blogs being mandatory, make it optional and award people who put the time into it. WEll This is my last entry for this blog. Buh Bye!
