The Management issue I am currently facing has been partially solved already. The problem was how to juggle school and work in two different states at the same time. From the earlier post I have said that I am licensed in New York and in New Jersey as a Real Estate Sales Agent. Although I am an independent contractor, the offices usually require the agents to be in the office. So how was I going to go to school for 4 days and work in two states for the remaining days left of the week? Well I originally decided not to work in New York City since they only hired full-time. So it was set for school and working in New Jersey.
But as the time progressed school work was not as easy as it was before and required a lot more time. Therefore I have told my boss in New Jersey I would not be working in the office but will be stopping by when I have the chance. He was nice enough to let me. Anyways the problem starts here. In order for the license to stay alive I have to be sponsored under a broker and pay the license fees yearly. Since I have not found a broker in NY who would just sponsor me, I’m on a search for a broker in NY. So is it worth it to keep this license alive or just drop this weight off my shoulders and look for a different job. (Truthfully being an agent is a pain in the ass.)

How do you keep your energy up to get through the day/week? I would be exhausted!
Well...If you think you have the change to look for a different job you should definitely do it. Just think about how much time, money and energy you would save by doing so.
If on the other hand you think it would be a real hassle, an option could be to schedule all your classes so would come only twice a week to school and you would have more time for you job.
PS: You know, when you register for classes, if the classes you want are closed you can always ask for permission in the department, they almost always give it to you.
Hi, Steve, I have some questions about your management problems.
Can you be inactive once and be active again when you want? Some professional licenses can do it, but please check carefully what the requirements to be licensed again are.
If you need continuously to be active, and it is hard for you, I think you can just quit since you hate the job. Life is too short to keep doing something you don’t want!!
whenever you think about something is worth to keep or not, you should carefully consider about it before making any decision. dose this license still benefit for you or it have no value to you at all?choosing is difficult , but life is about gaining or losing. The only thing is that do not be regret after you make decision
